Welcome to Meadowdrift Senior Living

Where every season feels like home.

Meadowdrift sits on 18 quiet acres just outside Asheville, North Carolina. Our community is built around its gardens — raised beds, walking paths, a farm-to-table kitchen, and screened porches looking out toward the Blue Ridge. Independent living, assisted living, and memory care, all on the same campus.

About Meadowdrift

Family-owned and operated since 2008. Twelve buildings tucked into the hillside, no building taller than three stories, and a main lodge at the heart of the campus where most of the day’s life happens.

Garden-first design

Eighteen acres of walking trails, raised-bed gardens that residents tend year-round, and three pollinator meadows kept by the community’s own beekeeping club.

Farm-to-table kitchen

Seventy percent of our produce comes from within fifty miles. Our chef has run the kitchen for twelve years and writes the menu around what’s in season.

Family-scale

Just 96 residences in total. We’re intentionally small — staff know residents by name, and so do their neighbors.

Stories from families

What residents and their loved ones say about life at Meadowdrift.

“Mom’s garden plot at Meadowdrift is twice the size of the one she had at home, and she has new friends helping her tend it. She’s genuinely happier than she’s been in years.”
Marisa T., daughter of resident
“The chef walked the kitchen with us during the tour and asked about Dad’s favorite meals. Two months in he’d cooked all of them. That’s the difference here.”
Jonas P., son of resident
“Memory care was a terrifying conversation in our family. The Meadowdrift team made it feel like a beginning, not an ending. Mom is known and well-cared for.”
